Election Day is coming up on November 3rd. Because it's within the next 14 days, you can’t vote in that election by registering on this website unless you take additional steps. But you can still vote! Here’s how: |

If you’ve never registered in Michigan before,
you must go in person to your city or township clerk's office before 8 pm on Election Day and provide a document showing
proof of residency. You will also be able to vote while at your clerk’s office. The document must include your current
address and can be in electronic form. You may show:

3.Request an absent voter ballot from your old city or township clerk.
If you’re not planning to vote on November 3rd, you don’t need to do anything. You’ll be registered to vote in all future elections by using this website.We will mail you a voter information card after this election.
- a Michigan driver’s license or state ID
- a current utility bill
- a bank statement
- a paycheck
- a government check
- another government document
